What does it take to reform healthcare? -Healthcare reform begins with Your willingness to recieve Love

I was on the radio 8 ball show on 9-9-09 and found myself once again in the role of storytelling- observing synchronicity in the questions and answers of the show participants and weaving together meanings into a message for community insight…
In This show someone asked: What is the matter with the health care system? What does it take to reform health care?
The answer came back with a song in position four the “heart” position- which has to do with love and relationships. I thought about it and began piecing together the other bits of wisdom in the lyrics of the songs and the message was something that struck me hard.
Our health care system reflects the quality of our relationships.
How?
Well here are a few connections of health care as it “has been”:
Fear, Isolation & competition- as we are isolationist or “independent” we wait till the last minute to bring up what is important and then may require drastic measures which adds to the drama of our relationship or our wellness in life. Are you really communicating your true desires early and clearly? The perception of lack and competition leads to more drastic “quick-fix” behaviors.
Here is what the emerging health care “can be now” if we so choose:
Love, Inclusion & Cooperation- as we are inclusive of what is going on for us and share our desires our “symptoms” and what is really our deep heart desire and support each other in creating our true desires our relationship and our wellness improves in many ways.
- When the quality of our relationships is good our immune systems work better- less unnecessary stress
- When their is positive passionate energy flowing it is easier to manifest and create a desirable life -increased lymbic function and endocrine health.
- We are more hopeful and believe in our power to effect change in the world- in areas such as health care for instance.
- It is easier to be a good friend when relationships are going well and it our friends and loved ones that in their care and love of us really prevent our needing lots of extraneous psychiatric help. To put in the positive, unconditional love is our best medicine.
So, to wrap it up. The “song answer” on the show was about a black woman who risked her life to cross the Ohio river when it was frozen to get to somewhere where she could be loved and accepted for who she is. How far do we have to go to get to the place that is true for us? The answer is simple. We get to have a profound heart connection as a people. We get to learn how to receive love and be courageous enough to pursue what matters to us on a heart level. When we are taking care of ourselves and each other and have enough hope and passion to know we can make a difference we will because we will be connected on a heart level to what really matters and we can all “get” that. Lack and Abundance start as perceptions -they are contrived stories that manifest in the world based on our willingness to receive love and our courage to put our real desires on the table for everyone to look at.
Blessings to your wellness,
Daenin
